My child has attended sessions with other teachers however I have always found sessions very generic and subsequently found very little academic improvement. Since starting lessons with LightUp Learning I have found my son's teachers noticing a substantial increase in both his grades and his confidence in a short space of time. I can only credit the personalised teaching for this as his tutor tailors his lessons for my son's needs and ensures he gets the best support. Very happy!

My daughter is quite timid. She struggles in school as the class sizes are quite big and she doesn't have the confidence to ask for the help she needs. My son has always been academically bright but lacked the guidance he needed from the school. I haven't formally studied in the UK and found it difficult to navigate the system particularly during the college application process and COVID grade fiasco. The tutor supported us in getting my son entered for the higher paper after facing much opposition from his school, tutored him to do well in his exams and then went out of his way to help him with his college applications. With the school providing very little support we, as parents, were very concerned. The tutor we were introduced to helped us through the personal statement, organising voluntary work for my daughter, helping her book her UKCAT and then supporting her in writing her PS. Very impressed as it helped her obtain her offer from university for Dentistry, Would recommend!

We have found the tutor to be very approachable. As a parent I have been able to ask questions that teachers often struggle to answer and he is always willing to help outside of lesson time. He is very helpful and directs us in a manner that helps us achieve the best from my son's education.

We have used many tutors for our children however have found LightUp Learning to be reliable and dedicated to helping our children achieve their results. The tutor makes them overall plans, session plans, session reviews with us as parents which keeps us in the loop and conducts regular tests. This allows us to ensure both my children are achieving their academic goals. Not quite sure how he does it but he makes maths enjoyable to the extent where both the boys want to study maths at A Level! This is a credit to you as this was their least favourite subject.
